An 6500 sq.ft urban abode for a middle aged doctor couple, exemplifies their need for a contemporary lifestyle yet being responsive to the climate. The plot is situated in an typical urban setting amidst a colony of bungalows accessed by a narrow road and adjacent houses at a  very close margin to the plot boundary. 

The design is conceived as an introverted spatial experience, which derives natural light from an double height courtyard having a well ventilated skylight. The spaces have been planned keeping in mind their use and need for natural light and ventilation. One can see green landscaped areas from every room in some way or the other without compromising on the desired privacy. The sectional volume of the house binds all the common areas, making it open and unifies the overall experience.

This is an house which responds to the every changing season and has been planned with basic fundamental principles of Vaastu Shastra.
